Oasis recently released a previously unheard version of “Columbia” from their upcoming 30th anniversary edition of Definitely Maybe.

Noel Gallagher and Callum Marinho mixed the unheard version, titled “Columbia (Sawmills Outtake).” The song arrived along with an accompanying lyric video.

In the reimagined version, Noel’s vocal harmonies are buried deeper than on Owen Morris‘ final album version.

“Columbia,” which was one of the first Oasis songs to be written, was originally released as a white-label 12″ vinyl. The reissued version of the song clocks in at 7 minutes 18 seconds, longer than the 6 minute-run of the album original.

The special Definitely Maybe reissue is scheduled to arrive on August 30 via Big Brother Recordings, in various formats.
