After 13 years, Ticketmaster has settled a class action lawsuit regarding their fees that were supposed to be refunded. Here’s the legal stuff:
“Each Class Member who made a purchase transaction on www.ticketmaster.com between October 21, 1999 and February 27, 2013, should anticipate receiving, on or around June 18, 2016, at least one Ticket Code potentially redeemable for two tickets for concert events at Live Nation owned or operated venues, subject to availability and limitations…Individual Class Members will receive one Ticket Code for each purchase transaction during the Class Period, up to a maximum of 17 Ticket Codes.”
There are restrictions on the codes, like they can only be used for certain shows and you can only use 2 free ticket codes per transaction. Once the list of shows accepting codes is finalized, it will be available HERE.
Those who purchased tickets between October 21, 1999 and February 27, 2013 are also eligible to receive up to 17 discount codes at a value of $2.25 each that can be used on any purchase. (Limit 2 codes per transaction)
