Stone Temple Pilots revealed the identity of their new lead singer during a concert in Los Angeles, California, Tuesday night, November 14th.

According to Blabbermouth, former ‘The X Factor’ contestant Jeff Gutt was introduced as the new frontman for STP during an invite-only concert at the Troubadour. You can hear audio from Gutt’s soundcheck with the band in the video above.

STP has been searching for a new lead singer since Chester Bennington exited the band back in 2015.

Gutt was a contestant on ‘The X Factor’ back in 2013 and has long been rumored to be the new lead singer for Stone Temple Pilots, so this didn’t come as much of a surprise to die hard fans.
