The transit of Mercury is a rare event seen from earth only 13 or 14 times a century. And it’s happening Monday, May 9th. It will last about 7 1/2 hours. Slooh, a space broadcasting site, will host a live stream beginning Monday morning May 9th at 7am EDT.
